Open Question: 1998 seville not blowing heat?

I have a 1998 cadillac sls and it won't blow heat. The two hoses aren't the same temperature. The ones that run from the heater core to the radiator. It blows but mostly cold air sometimes warm but when the temperature drops it won't blow warm at all. I know this may be a more complicated heating system, but any help on how it works or troubleshooting the cause would be appreciated. How do I properly bleed the cooling system.
